We had a flow exploring the earth's dynamic formation in Chestnut Hill, MA.

Joseph and I have exposed your children today to an exercise in which they had to look at the made rock material and reason about the environment, its conditions and time it took to make it. They have sketched the rock first. It is an activity that allowed them to go beyond the quick seeing and starting seeing what the lodges of rocks REALLY looked like. We were trying to think of them as "story telling" and we will continue to tell the story next session.
