Architecture and Board Game Camp

The park and the sunny weather have helped our architects to design multiple cities. We had a modern skyscraper city designed from wedgits, a futuristic Chinese house, a tree house with a lift and swing and a beach house placed on a boulder with some water bridges (using kapla) and a slide into the sea (using an aluminium pipe). Close to the beach house a group of kids designed elaborate ruins of a castle and made knight tournaments. The kids had a fantastic time choosing a place for their city, materials to build them with and implementing ideas that really put it all together. Engaged in deep, creative and critical thinking made it all come to life. Enjoy the slideshow!
