Dry Ice and 3 states of matter

Dear Parents,
We had a great session…

Your kids have been thinking about states of matter and experimenting with water in its frozen state (ice) including dry ice, where all the fun was had. Our goal was to see how heat and cold influences the states of matter as well as to learn the properties of frozen CO2. We have also experimented with the fact that gas expands, which can trigger materials to break or burst apart. Fun!

Below are some visuals to follow our session.😄
warmly,
Joanna
