Heat, Water and Dry Ice

Our participants gained a more concrete understanding of carbon compounds by investigating the differences between solid carbon dioxide (dry ice) and common water ice. By investigating the differences between the solid and gaseous states of matter by generating carbon dioxide gas from carbon dioxide (dry ice) and capturing it in bubbles they were able to see changes in a very dynamic way, how heat energy from liquid water effects dry ice.
