Learning in the Land of Thinkers

Our last human physiology session at Cogitania was a perfect example of how your kids learn as they enter the land of thinking. They started with images of the human heart, a video about its structure and function, moved to the project room, to engineer all the complex structure and circulatory systems, connecting it to the lungs (they became spiked in plumbing today😊). And finally, they had an opportunity to dissect a lamb's heart.

At the end of the session, we gathered together to reflect upon our discoveries, about who we are as a human and how we function and live. I am thrilled with their growth as thinkers, socially aware learners and responsible young people.

Happy summer to all,
All comments welcome,

warmly,
Joanna
