Cloud Forest Conservation Initiative leading 3 exciting sessions
Dear All,
Happy summer - uff, a hot and humid one!
I hope, all your kids are returning and maybe you can invite one or two more kids. I am excited to share that I found an amazing botanist, Philip Tanimoto, Ph.D. • Executive Director of the Cloud Forest Conservation Initiative, who will lead the first 3 sessions and introduce your kids to the world of the diversity of plants. He will be a special guest instructor for the 3 sessions in September: 9/10, 17 and 24th.
He will send me soon more detailed info which you will be able to find on Cogitania website. Please confirm that your child is returning!
warmly,
Joanna
Executive Director Tanimoto 'discovered' the little-known Cerro Amay Cloud Forest Ecosystem during his doctoral research on cloud forest birds in 2006. He founded the Cloud Forest Conservation Initiative in 2009, and since then, he has guided their projects and expanded their conservation approach.
