The Periodic Table is Born

Last Wednesday we started with the story of Dimitri Mendeleev's life. We sent the kids all the way back to 19th century Siberia, Moscow and finally St. Petersburg. Your kids listened with attention and focus about his dream in which the periodic table was born.

Using Lego blocks, they created a working system that allowed them to begin an understanding of chaos; we found categories for each piece and which type repeats most often.
