This week, we began learning about the specific dynamics between the Sun, Earth, and Moon. We explored the layers of the Sun and what is happening in each, as well as the area around the Sun.

We began to build models of the Sun and Earth, complete with accurately proportioned layers. We also investigated scale as we discussed the size of objects in the solar system. Next week, we will begin investigating the other terrestrial planets: Mercury, Venus, and Mars.
