Imprints and transfers with Katya Popova
The previous session was focused on materials and substances used while painting and drawing directly on the surface, while this session was about imprints and transfers.
We explored some interesting combinations:
how alcohol repels the ink; what happens if you add salt in the process; how to make a mono-print, using various objects, textures and stencils.
We experimented with printing from glass surface and used rope, bubble wrap, leafs and other materials.
We also used Orange Stripper to see its affect on Insulation foam surface."
