Electronic configurations and orbitals

Today in Quantum Mechanics, we dive even deeper into understanding the concept of electronic configurations and orbitals. The concept of conjugation / delocalization was introduced today, which often leads to visible light and fluorescence. These concepts were explored by looking at the reactions of various pH indicators and how their colors change in the presence of acids / bases. This will lead to our discussion next week on Particle in a Box.
