Clark Nelly – from NASA to Space Shuttle to Cogitanian

We would like to warmly welcome Clark Nelly as our resident physicist and mathematician. His lifelong fascination with physics and maths has been the cornerstone and path that lead him on exciting journeys and experiences that are sure to captivate and excite the young minds at Cogitania.

As a NASA employee, he and his partners were responsible for developing Earth and Lunar orbital rendezvous techniques. From there he served as rendezvous training instructor for the Apollo missions 9, 11 and 13. Later in his career, he participated in the design of the space shuttle flight control system and played a role in the development of the first GPS operating software. We look forward to Clark's insights and lessons.
