1-2-3 Perspective!

The first half of our lesson was spent refreshing our knowledge of last week’s tutorials on one-point, two-point, and three-point perspective, followed by a quick drawing session and review the associated terms.

Associated terms

 One-dimensional
 Two-dimensional
 Three-dimensional
 Horizon line
 Vanishing point
 Orthogonal lines
 Transversal lines

The second half of our lesson we tackled the deceptively challenging task of drawing circles, ellipses, and cylinders in perspective, and compared this to our prior perspective drawing experience.

Optional Homework: Use a tool as a sight stick (ex. pencil, paintbrush, wooden cooking skewer, etc.) in a familiar location and record if you observe angles/objects you typically do not notice.
